Lucky Me, I had lunch with Dorothea Benton Frank, Cassandra King and Patti Calahan Henry

And Marjory Wentworth, Poet Laureate of South Carolina at Blue Bicycle Books Charleston Author Luncheon last Friday.  Really enjoyed the sold out event at High Cotton as Herb Frazier, award-winning journalist and childhood member of Mother Emanuel, Dr. Bernard Edward Powers, A.M.E. Church member and professor of history at the College of Charleston, and Marjory Wentworth, South Carolina's Poet Laureate, discussed their book We Are Charleston.

The next BBBCAS luncheon is with author Jane Green, introducing her new novel Falling, A Love Story. With 15 New York Times Bestsellers under her belt, I'm sure Falling will be a must-read.
